Prayer is conversing with the Creator of the universe, nothing less.
We pray for many reasons, to give thanks to God, to ask forgiveness, to ask for guidance
or,
to ask The Father through the intercession of His Son, Jesus Christ and by the power of
The Holy Spirit to answer the needs of another.

ALPHA
Alpha is for anyone
interested in finding out more about the Christian Faith. People of all ages
are welcome. We learn about the Christian faith and have fun at the same time.
The course provides an opportunity for a personal journey into the relevance of Christ in
our lives today. Leaders are recruited from those who have experienced the course,
but all are welcome to serve as helpers. |

BIBLE STUDY
The Bible not only tells how God sought his people in the past; it is also a means by which he seeks us out today. It is not just part of the dead past; it is part of the
living present. We cannot read it without a sense of being involved. The
experiences of the biblical characters are basically our experiences.
Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM (except Summer) |

CURSILLO
Crusillo is a short course in Christian living and is a program of spiritual
renewal for lay persons. It is an experience of Christian community, but also a
time of instruction in the basics of our faith. A Cursillo weekend is
conducted in a retreat setting, yet is not a retreat. It is a weekend of
worship, music, instruction, refection, discussion, prayer and fellowship.

PRAYER
CHAIN
The St. David's prayer Chain is a ministry of prayer conducted by members of the parish
which seeks to bind the community together on behalf of anyone in need of intercession
through prayer. The structure of the chain is designed to insure that a known need is
constantly being prayed for . In recent years, studies have been conducted which indicate
concrete benefits resulting from communal prayer with respect to illness recovery.
If you would like to place a loved one on our prayer chain, please call the church
office: 474-3140 or use form below. |
