St. David's is home to various groups that serve the community, including a free food pantry, clothes closet, and numerous service and support groups.

The Jubilee Center

The Jubilee Center serves anyone residing in Englewood (Charlotte and Sarasota counties). Please present a photo ID or FPL bill to receive food.

Pat's Kindness Closet

Tuesday | 10 AM - 12 PM

Any client receiving food from Jubilee Center can access our free clothes closet.

Thrift Shop

HOURS

Monday - Saturday | 9:30 AM - 12 PM

Located across the street from the church in the Beall's Outlet Shopping Mall

Backpack Ministry

in partnership with Community Presbyterian

Every two weeks throughout the school year, backpacks are filled with kid-friendly, nutritious food for students enrolled in an Englewood school.

St. David's Scholarship Committee

Each year the St. David's Scholarship Committee awards college and vocational scholarships to their church members, as well as Lemon Bay High School.

Social Justice

We provide financial support to community service agencies as well as groups fighting for social justice in our county, such as the Sarasota United for Responsibility and Equity (SURE), or for health justice, such as the Englewood Community Health Action Team (CHAT).

Daughters of the King

Perpetua Chapter

Women dedicated to prayer and service to the people at St. David’s are welcome to join Daughters of the King (DOK). The DOK members meet monthly, first Saturday of the month.

Episcopal Church Women Group (ECW)

Our Episcopal Church Women Group (ECW) includes all women in the church and supports local, national, and international church needs. For more information or to request assistance, contact Debbie Burke at 941-474-3140.

Healing Ministers

Our newly formed and trained Healing Ministers provide hands-on healing to folks at services or upon request.

Music Ministry

Through the music ministry, all are invited to share their musical talents with the congregation. The St. David's Choir sings at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday service and at all major church services. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays and Sunday mornings.

St. David's also seeks Cantors and Instrumentalists to enhance worship.

Living the Questions

This modern theology group meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday mornings each month, using materials and a curriculum that connects us to modern Christian theology and spirituality. Led by a layperson, we engage in study and conversations about the nature of God, Jesus, emergent or progressive Christianity, St. David's purpose and place in Englewood today, and our individual faith journeys—all in a safe group. Materials and curriculum are chosen by group consensus.
